About Me

 Hi! I'm HasteReapr, a passionate programmer who makes a bunch of different mods for Risk of Rain 2, and my own fighting game that I am working on right now.

   I'm incredibly proud of my work, and pride myself on making the highest quality mods I can put out. I am very invested in the art that I make, doing the best I can to pour my personality into what I make.

  I also make some YouTube videos! Mainly just edits right now, but I plan on making devlogs of both my fighting game, and of Risk of Rain 2 mods. In the future I plan on having a full video tutorial on how to make characters for Risk of Rain 2, with a library mod that should streamline the character creation process.

My Projects

Assassin is the first ever modded Risk of Rain 2 character I made. They started off as a very simple character, with daggers, poison, a roll, and their special was they throw poison very fast. This got changed early on in development, as it felt kind of bland. As of writing this Assassin has over 900k downloads on Thunderstore, and is the 20th most downloaded character of all time, and from what I've seen in the community, they are well regarded as an incredibly fun yet balanced vannila-like character.

Despite being the second official full character I've released, Johnny is actually the 6th character I've made. I've gone through developing the Knight from RotMG (similar to how Assassin is from RotMG), to developing Junker Queen, then Ramattra, and finally Mauga. Using the skills I learned from recreating the Overwatch 2 tank kits, I made a very faithful recreation of Johnny from the Guilty Gear series by Daisuke Ishiwatari. He currently sits at ~80k downloads, and has had tons of positive reviews about how fun he is to play. Including my favorite video I've seen of him.

Sol Badguy is not the most complex character I've made, that title would go to my currently unreleased Gearmaker character, inspired by Asuka R Kruetz. However, he is a very complex character with a bunch of special moves from the games, that can be activated with comboing certain normal moves together. Sol Badguy needed to have a special input handler programmed for him to handle these special requirements posed by the unique combo system.
